a little about me & my work:

i’m a multi-media artist living and working in nashville. i have an equal love for photography and painting. duality is a recurring theme in my work regardless of medium and i draw inspiration from a life split between the deep south and the west coast. i believe being an artist is a way of life.

while my current photographic body of work primarily focuses externally on the relationship between subject, viewer, and artist, my paintings come from an internal place, typically exploring color, texture, and shape as a means to convey movement and emotions.

another interest of mine is designing jewelry. i see these wearable works of art as extensions of my paintings and photographs.

i hope to be able to share more about those projects soon.

when i am not making art, i co-own and operate a pop-up art market here in town called “the wicked market” with 2 of my best friends, abby walters and ericka hammond. this market takes place on the full moon at our neighborhood bars, restaurants, and venues and features 15 -25 local artists. if you haven’t made it out to one yet, you can find us at www.thewickedmarket.com or if you prefer ig: @thewickedmarket.

along the way, i accidentally found 4 dogs and now we all live happily ever after together. you will see them featured in my work and socials. they are the lights of my life and their names are Margot Tenenbaum, Vera, Banksy, & Kehinde Wiley.
